Recent Beauty Favorites

Going back to school reminds me how unproductive I am, which is why two whole weeks have gone by without a post, which is just not fair at all. I decided I would get on a blogging schedule to have some consistency in my posts; so I will be posting on Wednesdays and Saturdays from now on.

Anyways, I wanted to share some of my recent beauty favorites. These are all drugstore products so they are cheap, but in my opinion, they go beyond the limits of drugstore products. Lets see what they are!

NYX Illuminator

This highlighter is seriously awesome. “Ritualistic” is a pretty white with a gold tint, perfect for a classic, everyday highlight, and “chaotic” doubles as a blush and illuminator with a gorgeous peachy gold pigment. The consistency of these is perfectly blendable and the price is certainly a steal!

Covergirl Clump Crusher Mascara

I think I found my all time favorite easy mascara. Some may not like this because it does contribute to a more natural look, but I appreciate that because it doesn’t look fake. I love a mascara that give my eyelashes more length, and this mascara does just that.

NYX Glam Shadow

“Soprano” is the prettiest gold-champagne color for a quick, all over the lid eyeshadow. It’s the kind of product that I rely on for when I’m rushed (so basically everyday). NYX glam shadows are smooth and easy to apply with my finger for the “glam” look they promise.

NYX Butter Lipstick

I’ve really been getting into wearing lipstick lately; it really finishes off any look well. NYX butter lipstick is best described as a combination between a typical creamy lipstick and Maybeline Baby Lips. It’s sheer, yet very pigmented and long-lasting. “Fireball” is the more scarlet reddish color and “Little Susie” is more of a  “deep pink with yellow undertones”.

By now I’m sure you can tell I love NYX products (this isn’t sponsored); they are really good quality and a great price point!
